AN INTRODUCTION TO THE
COMMERCIAL LAW LEAGUE OF AMERICA

The Commercial Law League of America is the nation's oldest organization of professionals active in the fields of commercial and bankruptcy law.

Founded in 1895, its membership tops 5,000 with members in the United States and throughout the world. Members of the League are experts in the fields of credit and finance, as well as bankruptcy and reorganization.

The CLLA is the publisher of the award winning Commercial Law Journal, a scholarly law review published quarterly, as well as the Commercial Law Bulletin, which is published bimonthly and contains industry news and practical features for members.

The League consists of five regional members' associations and four Sections, all of which provide special attention to the interests of members and produce targeted programming at regional meetings.

The League is active in the legislative arena and representatives of the League regularly testify before Congressional committees.
